PRESS RELEASE

Industries announces design win with Alienware Computer
sUrface1030 receives Editor’s Choice Awards

San Mateo, CA   November 22, 2000 – After receiving three prominent Editor’s Choice Awards, Industries announces that Alienware Corp. has selected the patent-pending sUrface1030 mousing surface to be included in their award winning line of gaming PCs.  The sUrface1030 will also be available with Alienware's new line of non-linear digital video editing systems.

The sUrface1030 is the first complete mousing solution that provides users with the flexibility required in today’s diverse computing environment, offering features never before available in a mouse pad. The product is comprised of an ergonomically designed rubber base that houses the unique double-sided sUrface and keeps it in place on the desktop.  The double-sided sUrface offers two unique options for the user depending on their individual mousing style and preference. A specially designed, integrated mouse cord clip with multiple placement locations allows the sUrface1030 to be used either wide or tall and provides the user with hassle free mouse movements.

The  sUrface1030 received the PC Gamer’s Editor’s Choice Award (August, 2000), Thresh’s FiringSquad Editor’s Choice Award, and the Gamer’s Depot Drool Award.

“The mouse pad has become an integral component to the hardcore gamer” said Alex Aguila, Executive Vice-president Alienware Corp.  “The new sUrface1030 is a perfect fit with the gamer who demands performance and functionality first”

“Alienware has shown incredible consistency in providing award-winning, innovative solutions for the gaming community”, says Craig Rogers, CEO of Industries.  “They have focused on producing high quality machines that extend an increased level of value to the consumer, often with products not available elsewhere.

"Including the sUrface1030 with each Alienware system was a an easy decision" said Frank Azor, director of product development, Alienware Corp." The precision and quality of the product is really unmatched. The sUrface1030 does equally well in the working or in the playing arena"

The sUrface1030 will ship with Alienware systems immediately.
